This is
an atmospheric building for drama. Write a play script using the
established conventions. Set it in Chaucerian or Shakespearian times.
Consider the language used and your audience. What is the purpose of the
play? Is there a message in it? Prior to this, get the children to write
part of a scene and then act it out. Use a ‘freeze frame’ technique to
ascertain what the characters are thinking at that particular point (This is
a good Speaking and Listening strategy and helps in the drafting of the
final play script).
