  • Morning prayers.   (Individual needs to be brought to the attention of teacher)

  • Oral composition.  (Children prepare beforehand a piece of their local news)

  • Handwriting.  Spelling.

  • Prayers.

The atmosphere created by the Museum teacher will be as authentically Victorian as possible.  Each part of the total experience will be a taster of the longer school day and will be both informative and enjoyable for the children to take part in.  The better prepared they are, the more comfortable they will be in tackling a very different experience.

The lesson programme will adapt to the aptitude of the children participating. The lesson duration is designed to last approximately 45 minutes.  The school room will hold a maximum of 15 children seated.
